India, Uzbekistan agree defence industry ties

India and Uzbekistan have agreed to develop defence industrial links, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said on 1 October.

The MEA said the pledge was made during meetings in New Delhi between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
