Emily Atack’s I’m a Celeb pal Anne Hegerty blasts troll who accuses her of ‘not being pretty enough’ for new film role
ANNE Hegerty has lashed out at a cruel troll who claimed her I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! pal “wasn’t pretty enough” for her new film role.
The 60-year-old The Chase star dropped the C-bomb as she slammed the Twitter user, winning praise from her followers.
Last night, 29-year-old Emily tweeted: “Thrilled to announce I’ll be playing DEBBIE HARRY in @SkyArts new season of Urban Myths!”
The nasty troll, Steve, retweeted the message and added: “Sorry, you’re just not pretty enough” alongside the thumbs down emoji.
Emily proved to be a good sport, responding to the jibe with the crazy face emoji but Anne could not mask her outrage so easily.
Taking to her own Twitter account tonight, the TV star tweeted the troll directly as she wrote: “What a sad c*** you are, Steve.”
Emily has not yet reacted to Anne’s savage comment, but the Chaser’s comments won respect from her followers.
One wrote: “Anne you are brilliant!! This is the best response.”
Another added: “@anne_hegerty wins the internet.”
A third shared: “This tweet is finish me off, what a legend she is!”
