Robbie Williams urges fans to mock Liam Gallagher on Twitter during Vegas gig
WHAT happens in Vegas might stay in Vegas, but Robbie Williams has used his new residency to take his feud with Liam Gallagher Stateside.
The singer lashed out at his rock nemesis during a gig at the Encore Hotel, urging fans to get on Twitter and give the ex-Oasis frontman grief.
At the end of his set, he said: “If you have enjoyed the show, I have been Robbie Williams. And if you haven’t and you are upset about anything, I have been Liam Gallagher.
“In fact, if you want to start a hashtag, you can put ‘Liam Gallagher was s**t tonight’, if you want.”
His dig is the latest in a long line of attempts by the former Take That star to antagonise the Gallagher brothers, who he has been sparring with for more than two decades.
In 2000, Rob famously used his Brit Awards acceptance speech to offer to fight Liam, leading the rocker to call Rob a “fat f***ing idiot”.
Before his pop, Robbie berated the crowd for his failure to conquer North America, despite decades of trying and even living in Los Angeles.
He added: “Why didn’t you tell my f***ing friends about me?
“And I am sorry it has been so long since I last saw you, my North American friends.
“We are kind of planning on doing a pointless tour of North America — no album to promote, no country to break, apart from coming to say hello to you guys. Shall I do that?
“Go and tell your friends about me.
“I want to be famous in America. I do not want to infamous in America for not being famous in America.
“I want Ellen DeGeneres to know who I am.
“I wondered if you Americans knew some of my songs? I go all around the world entertaining.
“I am a global f***ing phenomenon, except in America. F***ers.”
It sounds like someone’s feeling the effects of quitting smoking . . .
Film crew don’t see eye to eye with Tom
STANDING at just 5ft 7in, Tom Cruise is in a good position to avoid making eye contact with most men he works with.
But it’s claimed the actor has gone to extremes to choose who he interacts with on set.
Film editor Tariq Anwar says that on a movie they made together in New Zealand, Tom asked crew to wear special shirts so they knew who was allowed to look at him during filming.
Tariq said: “The crew were informed of rules of engagement with their star. To save Cruise any distress regarding contact with mere mortals, colour-coded shirts were to be worn by the crew.
“Only those with a certain colour were allowed to address or make eye contact with him.”
The allegations come after Tariq, who has won two Baftas, published his memoirs, Movers And Shakers – The Monster Makers, about working with some of the industry’s biggest stars.
Of course, it’s not the first time Cruise’s over-the-top behaviour has come to light.
In 2012, Tom, allegedly asked the boss of a hotel in Montenegreno to kick out other diners so he could eat alone in its restaurant.
But his demand was denied. He ended up ordering a seafood banquet to his yacht so that he didn’t have to eat with other people.
No wonder he’s always hiding behind those sunglasses.

Beyonce’s bouncing back, girls
BEYONCE has parked her and Jay Z’s cheating drama – and is focusing on all the Independent Women.
She is set to drop a new solo album this summer, with a women’s rights theme.
I’m told the singer has completed three “killer” tracks already.
She plans for her next record to mark the end of a very dark chapter of her pop career, after addressing husband Jay Z’s infidelity in her 2016 album Lemonade.
While her last album gave an insight to the state of her marriage, this offering will be about sisterhood and empowering women in light of the #MeToo movement.
A source revealed: “Beyonce is on a break right now, but she has secretly been working on an album and has completed three songs which are all about women supporting women and lifting each other up.
“They are fierce dancefloor fillers, which her fans will love.”
She is also planning to tour the UK.
But it will not be until next summer, as she is busy with acting pursuits playing Nala in the Lion King live-action remake – alongside Donald Glover as Simba and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar – while writing and recording.
She has also been occupied with her Beygood charity work and is planning to mentor young people in universities to help them in business.
Perrie’s back on Instaglam
PERRIE Edwards looks refreshed after returning to Instagram following a three-week break.
The Little Mix singer hasn’t touched the site since she last posted a snap of her and Liverpool footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain posing at the Brits, after her band picked up Best British Artist Video for Woman Like Me.
Posing in thigh-high boots, Perrie wrote: “Hi Instagram, it’s been a while.”
Perhaps it just took Perrie that long to get over her well-deserved Brits hangover.
