$1M ticket bought in Quebec, but no winner for $20M Lotto 6-49 jackpot
There was no winning ticket for the $20-million jackpot in Saturday night’s Lotto 6-49 draw but a Quebec ticket holder has $1 million waiting for him or her.
Or at least the guaranteed $1-million ticket was purchased in Quebec. There has been no announcement yet identifying the winner or winners.
As well, eight lucky ticket holders including one from Winnipeg matched five of the six winning numbers including the bonus to claim $34,488 each. The other tickets were purchased in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Alberta. The winning numbers were 9, 12, 15, 20, 25, 45 with the bonus number 16.
A ticket holder from Edmonton matched the last six digits of the Extra to win $100,000.
The jackpot for the next Lotto 6-49 draw on March 20 will be approximately $22 million.

Looking back to Friday’s Lotto Max draw, that $25.8-million jackpot will also ride, with no winning ticket sold.
A ticket purchased in Ontario matched six of the seven winning numbers plus the bonus to claim $322,326. One ticket sold in Edmonton matched the last six digits of the Extra to win $100,000.
That means the jackpot for the next draw on the March 22 Lotto Max will be approximately $36 million.
