CASA Compact forum
The League of Women Voters of Santa Clara County and the Bay Area is hosting a public forum April 6 on “The CASA Compact: Proposals on How to Provide Affordable Housing in the Bay Area.”
A panel of speakers will present various opinions on the compact, developed by the Committee to House the Bay Area to address the lack of affordable housing. Speakers include Anita Enander, Los Altos City Council; Liz Gibbons, Campbell City Council; Michael Goldman, Sunnyvale City Council; Ken Kirkey, planning director for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission; and Michael Lane, deputy director of Silicon Valley at Home.
Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a moderated question-and-answer session. The forum is set for 9:45-11:30 a.m. in the Roosevelt Room of the Campbell Community Center, 1 W. Campbell Ave. For more information, contact lwv.swscv@gmail.com.
Delphi open house
Delphi Academy is hosting an open house March 23 for prospective K-8 students and their families. Classrooms, science labs, art studio, gymnastics room and other facilities will be open to visiting families. Teachers, parents and students will be on hand to answer questions. Information about summer-only or year-round enrollment will be available.
