Arsenal loanee goalkeeper David Ospina rushed to hospital after collapsing on pitch
ARSENAL loanee David Ospina was rushed to hospital after he collapsed on the pitch in Napoli’s Serie A clash against Udinese.
The Colombian had suffered a head injury earlier during the game.
With five minutes from half-time, the referee had to stop the game after Ospina collapsed in front of his penalty box.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper had sustained a head injury earlier during the game after colliding with Udinese forward Ignacio Pussetto.
The Colombian looked unconscious as Napoli’s medical team rushed to offer him a treatment.
His team-mates and the referee then hurriedly called for a stretcher to be brought on in order to haul Ospina off the pitch.
