The brand is plotting to get core customers back in stores amid plummeting sales. 

In an earnings call, CEO Mickey Drexler blamed the company's downfall on a single sweater, called Tilly, Bloomberg reported.

There were many things wrong with the sweater, from its allegedly poor fit to the $75 price tag.

Now, EDITD points out that on J. Crew's website, the Tilly pullover sweater no longer exists.

Western wildfires: Flames plague hot, dry Washington region

New flames ignited in drought-stricken Washington state, not far from where a destructive wildfire reduced homes to rubble. The fire has charred more than 3 square miles of dry sagebrush and grass near the city of Quincy and destroyed five abandoned buildings or outbuildings, the Grant County sheriff's office said early Wednesday. JBS buys Cargill's pork business for $1.45 billion

Brazilian food giant JBS S.A. said Wednesday its U.S.-based pork subsidiary has agreed to buy Cargill's U.S.-based pork business for $1.45 billion. Included in the acquisition are two Midwest meat processing plants that together process 9.3 million hogs. The deal also includes five feed mills and four hog farms. JBS first entered the U.S. pork market with the acquisition of Swift & Company in 2007. In 2009, JBS bought Pilgrim's Pride Corp., the second-largest poultry company in the U.S.
