New security measures in place at NY prison after escape

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — A range of new security measures are being put in place at a maximum-security New York prison to close gaps exploited by two inmates who escaped last month. The state corrections department says Wednesday that searches of inmates' cells will be stepped up, staffing will be changed to ensure bed checks are more effective and security gates will be installed in the facility's tunnels.
