Body found at base of South S.F. cliff near scene of shooting
South San Francisco police are investigating a suspicious death after the body of a man was discovered at the bottom of a cliff Tuesday afternoon near where he was chased and shot at the night before, authorities said. The victim, who was not identified, was discovered around 12:30 p.m. at the base of a 30-foot cliff along the bay near the end of Point San Bruno Boulevard, said Sgt. Ken Chetcuti, a police spokesman. Around 10:15 p.m. on Monday night, officers responded to the same area on reports of a shooting.
