New US Restrictions on Russian Media Set to Continue - Russian Journalists Union

Amid growing pressure on the overseas operation of Russia media agencies, Multicultural Radio Broadcasting Inc. received notice from the US Justice Department about its possible registration as a foreign agent. New restrictions affecting Russian media outlets will proceed in the future, according to the Russian Journalists' Union.

Maghtab petrol station application set to be refused by PA

The Planning Authority is set to reject plans for controversial petrol station in Magħtab, confirming a decision taken last year but which it was ordered by an appeals tribunal to reconsider. In a preliminary vote today, the PA board voted by six to two to stick by its original decision and reject the plans to demolish two derelict farmhouses and build a fuel station with an electric car charging station, car wash, shop, car mechanic workshop, stores and a parking area. Österreichs Steuerquote mit 42,9 Prozent fünfthöchste in EU

Die Steuerquote in der EU ist 2016 gegenüber dem Jahr davor von 39,7 auf 40,0 Prozent gestiegen. In der Eurozone betrug der Durchschnittswert 41,3 Prozent. Österreich lag laut jüngsten Daten von Eurostat vom Donnerstag mit 42,9 Prozent gemeinsam mit Italien auf Rang fünf. Frankreich wies mit 47,6 Prozent die höchste Steuerquote auf.

An American woman received death threats after her Instagram account dedicated to her hunting trips sparked outrage on social media. Nikki Tate,  a 27-year-old attorney from Dallas, Texas, shared graphic photos of her hunting sessions, showing dead carcasses of the animals she’s killed. Tate, who mainly hunts deer, waterfowl, and hogs, said online that her largest kill was a 180-pound buck. Tate became "addicted" to hunting when she tried bow-hunting at her uncle's ranch in south Texas 10 years ago, she said.
