Tom Green Made his Dada Proud. Proooouuud.

Splice Today

Tom Green's 2001 directorial debut Freddy Got Fingered is predominantly remembered as one of Roger Ebert's least favorite movie of all time, a rare recipient of the zero-star rating. Desson Howe, writing for The Washington Post, quipped that the film fits better into the horror genre because of its obscene lack of taste. Entertainment Weekly's Owen Gleiberman gave it an "F," calling it a "disaster, a case of a freakish yet dangerously one-note personality too besotted with ego to understand that... Читать дальше...

We looked forward to snow as kids, the schools closed and we were free to go sledding down the hills in the nearby park. The snow-packed side streets around the neighborhood... Читать дальше...

Doug Jones' victory is an epic disaster for Republicans

The Week

Last night the people of Alabama succeeded narrowly in doing the right thing by rejecting an accused serial sex predator who believes that the Bible should supersede American laws and dispatching his Democratic opponent, a decent man who once prosecuted KKK bombers, onward to the United States Senate. Kidney patient behind bars turns to President for justice

Times of Malta

A prisoner whose kidney condition is rapidly deteriorating while behind bars has asked President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca to grant him bail while he waits for an appeal about his case to be heard by the courts. The request cites a rarely-used section of Malta's criminal code, which allows the president to grant a person bail in "special cases", subject to any conditions the president wishes to impose. It also highlights the problem with having an attorney general who is both public prosecutor and legal advisor to the state... Читать дальше...
