All football clubs have issues, all managers are one-eyed, all those who take money from the game are keen to protect their own interests but the sheer amount of bare-faced lying in football really does my swede in tbh. It's so prevalent that for someone to tell the truth (or at least their version of it) they have to do it anonymously or in 'an explosive tell-all' autobiography written well after they've left the game. I don't really understand how or why fans can remain loyal to a sport that constantly bullshits them.

The Tigers are “getting closer” to dealing veteran second baseman Ian Kinsler, according to Jason Beck of MLB.com.

“We’ve gotten to the point where names have been exchanged,” Detroit general manager Al Avila said to Beck. “We just can’t agree.”

HONOLULU (AP) — The U.S. military has prepared detailed evaluations for six options to prevent leaks from 20 large fuel tanks in Honolulu. The tanks at Red Hill date to World War II and sit atop an important aquifer. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Hawaii state Department of Health say the Navy submitted the analysis last week. A public workshop to discuss the report will be held in the spring.
