Emergency services personnel rescued a man and a dog who had fallen through ice in Roscoe, Illinois, on December 11, according to footage published by rescue organization. The incident happened on the Legends Lake in Roscoe, according to the Harlem-Roscoe Fire Protection District. The man fell through thin ice while trying to rescue his dog. A firefighter, Lt. DETROIT (AP) — Some Michigan schools are closing ahead of a storm that's expected to bring fresh snow to a wide swath of the state, creating hazardous traveling conditions.
