The Winter Classic no longer creates the national footprint it did when the NHL’s outdoor extravaganza was created 10 years ago. It no longer makes for appointment viewing. Jeff Deakin, 66, his wife Mary and their dog waited in the cold all night to be first in a line of 100 people when Harborside dispensary, a longtime medical pot shop in Oakland... Читать дальше...

As we step away from the giant dumpster fire that was 2017, and run towards a (hopefully) better 2018, activist Ady Barkan has some thoughts he wants to share. For those that aren't familiar with Ady, he is the brave man who confronted Jeff Flake on a plane in mid-December to implore him to vote "no" on the tax cut bill.

That was the altitude we entered the range at after the roughly 10 minute transit into the “fight.” Flying is always a dynamic environment—things are always changing and the pilot has to adjust. These are absolute beauties.
Look at this absolutely gorgeous checked up beauty of a punt in the Rose Bowl by Oklahoma’s Austin Seibert.
As glorious as the setting of the game is, producing a beautiful punt to match the grandeur of the New Year’s Day staple is only fitting. Seibert pins Georgia at its own 1-yard line with the stroke of his leg.
Seibert’s pretty good as a punter, but he can do it all as a specialist. He handles both kicking and punting for... Читать дальше...
