Boeing Co. and American Airlines Group Inc. said late Friday that the airline will buy more than $12 billion in aircraft from the Seattle-based aerospace giant. Under the deal, American said it will buy 47 more of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner jets, more than doubling its current fleet of 787s and making it the largest 787 carrier in the Western Hemisphere.
