Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor was arraigned on felony criminal mischief and other charges following a backstage melee at a New York event that injured two fighters and forced the removal of three bouts on Saturday night from UFC’s biggest card this year. McGregor answered, “Yes, your honor” when the judge asked Friday whether he understood orders to stay away from the alleged victims in the case. American Airlines buying $12 billion in 787s from Boeing

Boeing Co. and American Airlines Group Inc. said late Friday that the airline will buy more than $12 billion in aircraft from the Seattle-based aerospace giant. Under the deal, American said it will buy 47 more of Boeing's 787 Dreamliner jets, more than doubling its current fleet of 787s and making it the largest 787 carrier in the Western Hemisphere. Brazil's top appeals court on Friday rejected former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva’s latest plea that he stay out of prison until he has exhausted all appeals to his corruption conviction, according to a court document.
