Traders' body CAIT Tuesday said levy of any cess or tax with the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is not advisable as it will contradict the principle of one tax, one nation. Toyota Motor Corp. said Tuesday U.S. sales for September fell 10.4% to 203,098 vehicles, as total car sales dropped 25.2% while truck sales declined 0.3%. Adjusting for having one less selling day in 2018, the daily selling rate for total vehicles fell 6.8%, while the DSR for trucks increased 3.7%. Toyota's stock rose 0.6% in morning trade.
