Koalition will betäubungslose Ferkelkastration länger zulassen

Berlin (dpa) - Die Spitzen von Union und SPD wollen das zum 1. Januar 2019 greifende Verbot der betäubungslosen Kastration von Ferkeln verschieben. Die Koalitionsfraktionen sollen dafür im Bundestag eine Initiative mit dem Ziel auf den Weg bringen, die Übergangsfrist bis zum vollen Verbot um zwei Jahre zu verlängern. Das wurde am Dienstagmorgen in Berlin mitgeteilt. CSU-Landesgruppenchef Alexander Dobrindt (CSU) sagte, mit dem Kompromiss sei nun auch in Zukunft Ferkelzucht in Deutschland möglich.
