A group of workers in India devised an excellent hack to erect a heavy concrete electric pole weighing almost 150kg. The men held the pole, which measured at least 8 metres, with the support of a rope tied to both ends, while another man propped a bamboo pole in the centre of the concrete pole. The bamboo pole allowed for the men doing the lifting to briefly pause at points, then heave together to move the concrete pole into place.
