JSR kennel club’s dog show back after Covid break

4 criminals nabbed for extortion bid

The Ranchi police nabbed four people for demanding Rs 100,000 from a person in connection with an extremist organization, People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI). The arrested persons are Prem Prakash Barla, Karamdeo Tirkey, Vijay Gope, and Sanjay Kumar. The accused were demanding the sum from a person at Bedo in Ranchi. A countrymade pistol, five cartridges, two mobile phones, a letter pad, and a laptop have been recovered from them. The police had earlier registered 25 cases against Barla and his associates.
