Govt clears nine industrial projects worth 1.5L crore

The state government approved nine industrial projects worth more than Rs 15 lakh crore on Thursday. These projects include four green fuel projects with job potential for 27,000 people, an arcelormittal nippon steel india’s amns Rs 38,000 crore plan for a seven million tonne per annum integrated steel plant project at paradip, and industries secretary Hemant Sharma saying all proposals approved were among the investment intents that had come during the Make in Odisha Conclave in November last year.

A manhunt is underway for an employee of a petrol station in Coimbatore, India who drove away his employer's car with 145 lakh cash on Wednesday. The value of the car is pegged at 55 lakh, and the investigation officer said the petrol station was run by Muthukumarasamy, a resident of Chinniyampalayam.
