Many playschools are functioning without approval in Coimbatore district, and as a result, the department is planning to take action against them. A manhunt is underway for an employee of a petrol station in Coimbatore, India who drove away his employer's car with 145 lakh cash on Wednesday. The value of the car is pegged at 55 lakh, and the investigation officer said the petrol station was run by Muthukumarasamy, a resident of Chinniyampalayam.
