A 16-year-old girl who had been missing since Saturday returned home on Wednesday and accused four people of gangraping her. The victim's mother had lodged a missing complaint at the barra police station on Sunday. The girl however returned to her home on Wednesday and told her mother that a youth living in the neighbourhood along with his three friends had kidnapped her and gangraped her after taking her to a secluded place. The transport minister, Laljit Singh Bhullar, visited the Ludhiana bus stand on Thursday and ordered the officials there to impound any buses that are not paying taxes. He also took feedback from the people about the bus stand and bus operators.
