The government has also initiated measures to attract youths to take up agriculture, and made it a profitable profession.

Rescued tiger dies in Mysuru

A tiger that was rescued from Kodagu in India died early Thursday. The zoo director said the 12-year-old tiger was brought from Kushalnagar on Wednesday but died early Thursday. The tiger died of multiple organ failure. It was being treated at the Chamundi Rescue Centre, which is a home for rescued injured wild animals run by the zoo.

Central Institute of Psychiatry, pvt school ink deal

CBI registers case against Kolkata bizman, Bengal cops

The central bureau of investigation, CBI, has registered a case against a trader from Kolkata, Amit Agrawal, and unknown officials of the Kolkata Police Department in connection with the seizure of Rs 50 lakh from the Jharkhand High Court Advocate Rajeev Kumar on July 31 last year. The case has been registered under Sections 120B and 182 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. Dilapidated police lines to be revamped: CM

The Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday said that police lines training centres and camps which face acute shortage of basic facilities will be renovated in the coming two years inaugurating a 500-capacity auditorium and other infrastructure at the Jharkhand Armed Policei Ground in Ranchi. 86% of Class III kids unable to read Class II books: ASER

The latest annual status of education report says that the survey covered 28196 pupils between the age group of three and 16 from 720 villages of all 24 districts in the state. 20 bus passengers from Gaya injured in Ramgarh accident
