‘Mysuru urban, rural divisions merger reduced losses by ₹60cr’

KSrtc merged its rural and urban divisions in Karnataka, which helped the agency plug losses of Rs 60 crore in the ongoing fiscal year. Mysuru division sustained a loss of Rs 101 crore in 2022-23, as compared the sum of Rs 161 crore in 202122 prior to the merger. Despite having to cope with the hike in the price of diesel for bulk users, KSrtc has not revised its fare.
