Case booked against five for threatening businessman

A mangaluru store owner received a call from an unknown person demanding he supply crackers worth Rs. 5 lakh. When the store owner refused, the caller and four others came to the store and threatened him. The store owner was then assaulted. The city police commissioner confirmed that a case had been registered. The city top cop said that they were unaware of any possible connection between the suspects and Ravipojary.



M’luru ganja case: Advocate, forensic expert seek high court intervention

Mangaluru senior advocate and forensic expert Dr Mahabalesh Shetty and advocate Manoraj Rajeeva, vicepresident of the Mangaluru Bar Association, petitioned the Karnataka High Court to take cognisance of the Mangaluru Ganja’ case that resulted in the arrest of several medical doctors and medical and dental students.
