Army to display Bofors guns at R-Day parade

Hawaii man imprisoned for 1991 murder, rape released

Convicted ex-MLA Mamta’s four-month-old son in hospital

Ramgarh four-month-old son of former Ramgarh MLA Mamta Devi who is currently in jail was admitted to ICU on Tuesday after he was diagnosed with pneumonia. Mamta is serving a five-year jail term awarded by a special court for her role in riots in 2016 in Ramgarh and Chatra district. The child was being taken care of by his husband, Bajrang Mahto, when he was admitted to the ICU.

JAC announces registration date for model school entrance test

2 ‘rape’ 40-yr-old in nursing home, held

Two staff members of a private nursing home in Jamtara were arrested and sent to judicial custody on Monday for allegedly raping a 40-year-old woman who was attending to her husband after his surgery at the health facility. The Daltonganj State Forest Environment and Climate Change Department has increased the number of notified villages in the core area of the Palamu Tiger Reserve from eight to 34. Officials said on Tuesday that until April 2022, there were only eight notified villages in the core area.
