SC disapproves of Suvendu Adhikari's move to bypass Calcutta HC challenging Speaker's decision

A division bench comprising Justices Dinesh Maheshwari and Sanjay Kumar expressed its reservations about Adhikari bypassing the Calcutta High Court. "How can you bypass the high court like this? We see no reason to interfere. You cannot approach us like this. We are expressing our reservations," the bench remarked. The bench further observed that Adhikari had approached the top court earlier too and was asked to petition the high court.

A new study suggests that the object, called X7, could be a cloud of dust and gas that was created when two stars collided. The researchers believe it will eventually be drawn toward the black hole and will disintegrate.

Insomnia tied to greater risk of heart attack, especially in women

People who suffer from insomnia were 69% more likely to have a heart attack compared to those who didn't have the sleep disorder during an average nine years of follow-up, according to new research. In addition, when looking at sleep duration as an objective measure of insomnia, researchers found that people who clocked five or fewer hours of sleep a night had the greatest risk of experiencing a heart attack. People with both diabetes and insomnia had a twofold likelihood of having a heart attack.
