Meghalaya, Nagaland polls today

Polls in Meghalaya will be held across 3,419 polling stations. There are 369 candidates, including 36 women in the fray. Around 21.75 lakh voters, including 10.92 lakh women, are eligible to exercise their franchise. Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) V Shashank Shekhar said that over 11,500 polling staff have reached 2,315 polling stations in 59 assembly constituencies.
