Indian carriers to operate 22,907 weekly domestic flights in summer

Indian carriers will operate a total of 22,907 weekly domestic flights during the summer schedule starting from March 26. The number of flights to be operated is 4.4 per cent higher compared to 21,941 weekly flights operated in the winter schedule, according to aviation regulator DGCA. The summer schedule is from March 26 till October 28. As many as 11 airlines will be operating domestic services, with maximum weekly flights by IndiGo at 11,465. Sagar Parikrama Phase-IV to begin on Mar 18 in K'taka; to cross 3 districts

The government on Friday said the fourth phase of 'Sagar Parikrama'-- which aims to resolve the issues of fishermen and other stakeholders and facilitate their economic upliftment through various schemes -- will begin on Saturday, covering three coastal districts of Karnataka. During the two-day journey, certificates/sanctions related to Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY), Kisan Credit Card and state schemes will be awarded to the progressive fishermen, especially coastal fishermen, it said. Electric two-wheeler maker Kabira Mobility secures $50 million funding

Electric two-wheeler maker Kabira Mobility on Friday said it has secured USD 50 million (around Rs 412 crore) funding from Qatar-based Al-Abdulla Group. The Panjim-based company plans to utilise the capital to fund its future growth in the country. The company plans to ramp up production capacity of its electric bikes KM3000, KM4000, introduce new products and enhance sales infrastructure across the country. Cong says NSE lifted ASM on Adani Group stocks, questions SEBI's 'inaction'
