Assam: Albino barking deer spotted in Dima Hasao district

The deer has been spotted around Ejing Hill (Dima Hasao View Tower) of Hadingma area recently. The deer is a rare species of animal and is found mainly in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and India. It feeds mostly on grass, leaves and fruits and has a lifespan of around 15 years.
