Congress plans legal challenge, political protests with allies

After a meeting of Congress leaders held by Mallikarjun Kharge, the AICC decided to hold protests outside the Parliament complex and Delhi streets from Thursday against Rahul's conviction, and along with allies sought time to meet the President even as PCC and CLP chiefs have been called to organise state-wise protests, projecting Gandhi's conviction as a "threat to democracy". Some in the Congress said Gandhi may not attend Parliament after the conviction whether or not his disqualification comes soon.
