Australia back on top of ICC Rankings ahead of ODI World Cup

Australia leapfrogged India to reach the top of the ICC ODI Rankings after their 2-1 series victory over the hosts in the three-match contest. The visitors sealed the series with a 21-run win in the third and final ODI on Wednesday in Chennai. Under the stand-in skipper Steve Smith, Australia rallied from 0-1 down to inflict a rare home series defeat to India.

An exciting game and a point earned for the Wildcats in a dramatic 6-5 OT loss to the Cape Breton Eagles before 4,800 fans at the Avenir Centre on Wednesday night. The game, scoreless after one period, featured an amazing 8 goals in the second period and 11 different goal scorers! Antoine Roy eventually won it for Cape Breton 1:39 into extra time.
