Oliver Baumann: "The win is extremely valuable as we were under pressure. We've gotten a lot better after that everlasting run where we only got beaten. We're playing with a lot of heart and showing character. Pellegrino Matarazzo has had a big hand in us winning three games in a row. He's very honest and has good ideas. Our team evening was also important. The run gives us a great deal of self-belief."

A very important win in the relegation battle: TSG Hoffenheim have beaten FC Schalke 04 2-0 (1-0). TSG took the lead in the first half via a wonderful attack by Christoph Baumgartner and Angeliño which ultimately saw Alex Kral turn the ball into his own net (22). However, Hoffenheim spurned further chances and Schalke stayed in the game. In a hectic second period, Ihlas Bebou doubled the lead to 2-0 from the spot to secure a third win in a row.

The Schalke game has carried the 32-year-old above the likes of Bundesliga legend Berti Vogts and he could yet surpass Franz Beckenbauer (424) before the season is over.
