CM stresses on timely conduct of Rath rituals, devotees’ safety

Chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday stressed on timely conduct of rituals and the safety of devotees during Rath Yatra in Puri on June 20. Naveen also stressed on foolproof arrangements, including special measures for protection of devotees from heatwave.

City student scores 715 in NEET, secures eighth rank

Jajpur admn imposes Sec 144 on hillocks to prevent illegal mining

The Jajpur administration on Tuesday imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of CrPC in the hillocks of Lunibera, Aruha and Bajabati under Dharmasala tehsil, Kendugadia in Raijhar tehsil and Purnachandrapur under Darpani tehsil to prevent illegal mining after two workers were killed in a quarry cave-in on May 31.
