Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a pro-Khalistan leader and designated 'wanted terrorist' by India, was shot dead in British Columbia province, Canada on Sunday. Nijjar was associated with Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a separatist organization banned in India since 2019. He played a significant role in organizing the Khalistan referendum in Brampton city.
