Kuki groups lift two-month blockade on NH-2 in Manipur

Two militant groups in Manipur have lifted a two-month-long blockade in the Kangpokpi district along National Highway-2, following consultations with various stakeholders. The United Peoples' Front (UPF) and Kuki National Organisation (KNO) issued a joint statement announcing the lifting of the blockade, which had caused a disruption in the region. The decision was made in response to the efforts of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to restore peace and harmony in the area.
