Police officer injured in shooting in New Mexico tourist town

Authorities say an exchange of gunfire between a police officer and a suspect in Taos has wounded both. Town manager Andrew Gonzales confirmed in a statement Saturday that the officer and the suspect were taken to a hospital. He says the suspect is likely to succumb to their injuries. He has declined to release more information and says the shooting will under go a full investigation.
