The Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2023 was passed by Rajya Sabha by a voice vote following a discussion in the absence of the Opposition party members. The Lok Sabha had cleared the legislation on July 27.

U.S. fast-food chains add automation to boost speed

  (Reuters) - From robotic grills to faster blenders with custom ice and milk dispensers, major U.S. restaurant chains including Starbucks, Domino's, and Chipotle are touting new technologies to automate production, cut labor costs and potentially boost profit margins.
