: Restaurant chain Wingstop fattens profit by 22%, stock up
Wingstop Inc. WING was up 2.6% in premarket trades on Wednesday after the Dallas-based restaurant company said its profit rose by 21.6% while lifting its outlook for full-year same-store sales. Wingstop’s second-quarter net income increased to $16.18 million, or 54 cents a share, from $13.3 million, or 44 cents a share, in the year-ago quarter.
