Yamuna recedes below warning mark in Delhi
The water level of the Yamuna River in Delhi has fallen below the warning mark of 204.5 metres for the first time since breaching it on 9 July, following heavy rains in the region. The river's level at the Old Railway Bridge stood at 204.26 metres, according to the Central Water Commission. The city was hit by waterlogging and floods this month after heavy rain in the catchment areas.
