LAPD chief, sheriff testify against zero bail

China objects to 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam' mention in G20 papers

No SC stay on Bihar caste survey

The Supreme Court of India has declined a request to order status quo on a caste survey in Bihar, which had been challenged by appeals arguing against the Patna high court's decision to uphold the exercise. The appeals will be taken up on 14 August. Earlier last week, the high court ruled the survey had not violated an individual's right to privacy.
