RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond Field Hockey collected the program's first win over James Madison since 2013, dominating the Dukes 3-0 Sunday at Crenshaw Field. The Spiders tallied a 1-0 victory on Sept. 15, 2013 over the Dukes at Crenshaw Field.

ALBANY, N.Y. Kitty Baccanello scored the games opening goal, but it would not be enough as No. 3 Maryland defeated Cal 4-1 on Sunday at Underhill Field.
BERKELEY – The California field hockey team struck first and battled all afternoon against No. 3 Maryland. Unfortunately for the Golden Bears, three goals by the Terrapins in the fourth quarter was the difference as Maryland came away with the hard-fought 4-1 win on Sunday afternoon at Underhill Field.
The Terps improved to 2-0 on the year.

Hope Rose drove from the top of the circle looking to break the tie that held for the majority of Maryland field hockey’s battle with Cal. Rose’s shot late in the fourth quarter found the back of the net and put the Terps ahead. On Sunday afternoon, the No. 1 North Carolina field hockey team (1-1) was handed its first loss of the season by the No. 7 Iowa Hawkeyes (2-0). This is UNC's first defeat since November 2021.

Monchengladbach — First a thunder delay, then a lengthy, confusing and controversial deliberation between umpires halted England’s bid to win a first major final for 14 years, as the Netherlands somehow weathered the storms from upstairs to win their seventh EuroHockey men’s title in dramatic circumstances on Sunday.
England Men's Hockey Team secured their first European-level medal in 14 years after taking silver at the EuroHockey Championships, just missing out on the trophy to the Netherlands. The English side pushed a very impressive Dutch side all the way in the final but it finished 2-1 to the Netherlands.
