Texans O-line flourishes at New Orleans

DeMeco Ryans and the Texans' offensive playmakers were quick to praise the offensive line after Sunday night's preseason win at New Orleans.

C.J. Stroud looked crisp on the Texans' first scoring drive, and the run game was able to rumble for 131 yards on 31 carries in the 17-13 triumph at the Caesars Superdome.

After an offseason of work, training camp and three preseason games, C.J. Stroud finally earned his spot as the Houston Texans starting quarterback. Head Coach DeMeco Ryans officially named the Texans second overall draft pick as the starter following Sunday night's 17-13 preseason finale at New Orleans.

"C.J. will be our Week 1 starter in Baltimore," Ryans said after the game.
