Coaching hub Kota reports 23rd suicide this year as NEET aspirant from Ranchi hangs herself

A 16-year-old girl from Jharkhand's Ranchi allegedly hanged herself in her hostel room in Kota, where she was preparing for the NEET exam. She became the 23rd student to commit suicide in Kota this year, the highest ever recorded. The police are investigating the reason behind her suicide, and no suicide note was found. Kota, known as a coaching hub, sees over 2.5 lakh students annually for competitive exams. Measures like anti-hanging devices in fans and anti-suicide nets are being implemented to prevent such incidents.
