I wasn't too upset by the result itself, because I think with injuries and being up so many weeks in a row, I think we really did run out of puff, and the Warriors were obviously by far the better team.
But just that we had the amazing run of ten in a row, it was the most I've enjoyed watching us play in at least a decade, probably more like since 2009, and now we have to wait until next year to see any more. Would love to see us keep building on it.

Yes, I've had that dream of a Wembley trip too, as the last one in 1979 was just before my time. I started supporting in 1980.
Also, 1979 happened to be a year that Wakefield Schools got to Wembley in the curtain raiser, sadly beaten I believe, by St Helens. My late father was part of the Wakefield Schools coaching set up at that point.
