Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the oldest and youngest members of Lok Sabha as the Parliament shifts to a new building. Shafiqur Rahman Barq, a 93-year-old Samajwadi Party MP, and Chandrani Murmu, a 30-year-old Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MP who was elected at 25, were mentioned. The Prime Minister also remembered Indrajit Gupta, a Communist Party of India (CPI) leader who served as a Lok Sabha MP for nearly 36 years.
