Mysuru newspaper vendor bags Rajyotsava Award

A 71-year-old newspaper vendor from Mysuru has been chosen for the Rajyotsava Award. Javarappa has been distributing newspapers for the past five decades, starting when he was just 15 years old. He continues to deliver newspapers to around 250 houses in the city, including the Mysuru Palace. Javarappa is also working as a salesman for another company and is active and healthy. He has not taken a day off from his newspaper distribution job in the last 56 years.
