Sheriff’s deputies in Southern California have shot and killed a man who fired a gun at them during an hours-long standoff that ended with him fleeing a burning home. The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department says investigators serving a search warrant for guns and drugs were met by gunfire Monday afternoon at a home in Upland, east of Los Angeles.
