Israeli hostages handed over to Red Cross, on way to border crossing with Egypt

The first batch of hostages freed under the Israel-Hamas truce deal have been handed over to the Red Cross and are on their way to Egypt, a source close to Hamas and Israeli media said on Friday. Meanwhile Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin said 12 Thai hostages were also released on Friday. The freed hostages are expected to be taken to Tel Aviv by air with either helicopters or planes, FRANCE 24's correspondent Irris Makler said.
