Rivers policeman mistakenly kills colleague, commits suicide

A policeman, Inspector Nelson Abuante, has committed suicide after he mistakenly shot dead a colleague, one Inspector Monday Gbaramana, during an attempt to arrest a suspect in Rivers State. Class IX student dies in Dhanbad school

Ajay Kumar Sao, a 15-year-old student at Symbiosis Public School in Loharbarwa area, died in school. The incident occurred when a teacher found Ajay sitting with his head down in the classroom.
