Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd (TPEM) rolls out the first Tata badged car from its new plant in Sanand, Gujarat, which was acquired from Ford India last year. The new facility has a manufacturing capacity of 300,000 units per annum, scalable to 420,000 units per annum. It is Tata Motors' second plant in Gujarat to manufacture internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) models.

Turkey carried out airstrikes targeting Kurdish militants in neighboring Iraq and Syria on Saturday, the Turkish Defense Ministry said. This comes a day after an attack on a Turkish military base in Iraq killed nine Turkish soldiers. The defense ministry said fighter jets destroyed caves, bunkers, shelters and oil facilities and “many” militants were “neutralized” in the strikes.
